Days 1 - 4: Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro. Spend these days exploring Rio’s most
significant landmarks, including the statue of Christ the Redeemer,
the Santa Teresa area and Sugar Loaf Mountain. Enjoy a historical
tour of downtown, and learn to dance the samba at one of Rio’s most

Day 5: Paraná, BRAZIL
Fly to the Brazil / Argentina border and transfer to your hotel near
spectacular Iguassu Falls. Follow the Macuco Trail on a Jeep tour
through the rainforest, then go on foot to the Macuco Falls, which
are hidden in the forested canyon. At the banks of the Iguassu
River, board a boat for a cruise through Iguassu Canyon, shooting
several rapids to arrive at the base of the waterfalls. ►Suggested hotel:

Day 6:
Paraná, BRAZIL
On the Argentine side, visit the suspended platform at Devil’s
Throat, the largest of the waterfalls. Later, explore the bird park,

Days 7 - 9: The
Pantanal, BRAZIL
Fly to Cuiabá and transfer to your lodge, where you can take an
ecological walk through the jungle and horseback ride through the
woods up to the edge of the Siá Mariana Bay. Later, embark on a
nocturnal game safari to observe the tropical vegetation and a large

The Pantanal, BRAZIL
Canoe the Mutum River and witness wildlife at sunrise in the
