Visit the town of Ajloun and its main attraction — Qala'at ar-Rabad
— a 12th-century Arab castle. Travel to Jerash, a third-century city
known as "the Pompeii of the Middle East" for the extraordinary
insight it gives into the ancient world. Today it is acknowledged as
one of the best-preserved provincial cities of the Roman Empire.
Explore the Roman remains and later, witness a reenactment of Roman

Day 4: Amman / Wadi Rum / Petra, JORDAN
A visit to the ancient Citadel, which towers above the city from
atop Jabal el-Qala'a, begins your tour. Continue to the Valley of
the Moon - Wadi Rum, one of the most starkly beautiful landscapes on

Day 5: Petra, JORDAN
Spend a full day exploring "rose-red" Petra, a city carved from a
mountain by the Nabateans more than two millennia ago. Visit the
Treasury, the Temple of Winged Lions, the Monastery and other

Day 6: Petra / Dead Sea, JORDAN
Stop at Madaba — the "City of Mosaics," so named for its famous
sixth-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two
million pieces of colored stone, the map depicts hills and valleys,
villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta. Continue to Mount Nebo,
where the Bible says Moses lived out his remaining days and viewed

Day 7: Dead Sea, JORDAN
Today is yours to spend exactly as you choose. The waters of the
Dead Sea are rich in salts and minerals and are widely renowned for

Day 8: Dead Sea, JORDAN / Jerusalem, ISRAEL
Cross the Allenby Bridge and view Herod's palaces and baths in
Masada before continuing to Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls

Day 9: Jerusalem, ISRAEL
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view of Jerusalem. At
the foot of the hill, you see the Garden of Gethsemane. You then
enter the Old City to visit the Western Wall and view the Temple
Area with the el-Aksa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. Walk the Via
Dolorosa, passing by the Stations of the Cross and ending at the

Day 10: Jerusalem, ISRAEL
View the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Israel Museum before travelling to
Bethlehem, one of the most picturesque towns in the Judean hills.

Day 11: Jerusalem / Tel Aviv, ISRAEL / Depart for Home
Drive to Tel Aviv's Ben-Gurion Airport, where you receive VIP
