Explore Bangkok’s busy riverbanks and klongs (canals), continuing by skytrain to the Weekend Market at Chatuchak Park. In the morning, hop aboard a tuk-tuk (three-wheeled, open-air taxi) to view the glittering Grand Palace compound. Visit Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand’s most important and sacred wat (temple), which houses the fabled Emerald Buddha. Day 4: Chiang Mai, THAILAND

Days 7-9: Siem Reap, CAMBODIA
Fly to Siem Reap in Cambodia, gateway to legendary monuments such as Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, Bayon Temple and Elephant and Leper King Terraces.
