Day 3: Lusaka / South Luangwa National Park, ZAMBIA
Fly by light aircraft to Mfuwe and Sanctuary Puku Ridge Camp,
nestled on a hillside in a remote, game-rich area of South Luangwa
National Park. The property is named after the puku antelope that
commonly grazes the floodplain in front of the camp. The primeval
forests and lush savannah of the landscape spans hundreds of miles,

mosaic of different habitats extends outward from the river. Spend

trained guides.

flying to the Lower Zambezi National Park and tented Zambezi Kulefu
Camp, an intimate, eco-friendly property overlooking a permanent
channel of the legendary Zambezi River and shaded by tall, riverine
trees. Watch for large herds of elephant — perhaps 100 at once — as
well as buffalo and waterbuck from the acacia tree-shaded,
Bedouin-style central tent or your private, elevated viewing deck.

species. The park lies opposite the famous Mana Pools National Park
in Zimbabwe, making both sides of the river a vast sanctuary for
wildlife. Take game drives in open safari vehicles, or discover
Kulefu’s abundant, diverse wildlife by motorized boat, canoe or from
the comfort of your own viewing deck. Meanwhile, a walking safari
offers an unforgettable way to experience wildlife up close.

interconnected tree houses with private decks perched in ebony
trees. The park is home to numerous antelope species, zebra,
giraffe, warthog and a variety of birds. Elephant cross the Zambezi

area and swimming pool. Cruise the Zambezi at sunset during a
sundowner with light hors d’oeuvres.
