DAY 1: Depart for Cairo, EGYPT
Depart the USA or Canada by overnight flight.
DAY 2: Cairo, EGYPT
Upon arrival in Cairo, settle into a Nile-view room at the Four
Seasons Nile Plaza. Explore the Pyramids and Sphinx of Gaza. As the
last survivors of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World, the
Pyramids date back some 5,000 years. Nearby is the mysterious
Sphinx, carved from a single block of stone. Step inside one of the
Royal Burial Chambers in the Pyramids and view the well-preserved

DAYS 3 - 4: Nile Cruise / Edfu / Aswan, EGYPT
Fly from Cairo to Luxor and board the MS Jaz Senator. Sail to Edfu
and visit the beautifully preserved sandstone temple of Horus — one
of the finest examples of Ptolemaic art in Egypt. Sail on to Aswan.

DAY 5: Aswan, EGYPT
Enjoy an excursion by traditional canvas-sailed felucca to the
Botanical Gardens at Kitchner’s Island to admire its exotic flora.

DAY 6: Nile Cruise / Kom Ombo, EGYPT
In the morning, relax on the ship or take an optional extension with
a flight to Abu Simbel, for a close-up look at the 3,000-year-old
temples built by Ramses II, which are carved out of a hillside. In
the afternoon, cruise from Aswan to Kom Ombo, whose name is derived
from “City of Gold.” A major attraction on your visit is the Temple
of Kom Ombo, built during the Greco-Roman period. The temple is
dedicated to two deities, each with their own fascinating chambers

DAYS 7 - 8: Nile Cruise / Edfu / Esna / Luxor, EGYPT
Visit Luxor, a magnificent ancient township built on the site of the
ancient city of Themes, dating back 4,000 years. Journey to the
Valley of the Kings, famous for its royal tombs and a designated
UNESCO World Heritage Site. The most famous tomb belongs to the
boy-king Tutankhamen. Also visit the Valley of the Queens, Temple of
Madinat Habu and the Colossi of Memnon.

DAY 9: Nile Cruise / Luxor, EGYPT
Enjoy the scenic landscape while cruising on the Nile. Take a
day-trip by ship to experience the majestic Dandarah Temple.

DAY 10: Luxor / Cairo, EGYPT
Fly from Luxor to Cairo, arriving mid-day. You will stay at the Four
Seasons Hotel at The First Residence, a gracious sanctuary on the

DAY 11: Cairo, EGYPT
Visit the famed Egyptian Museum including the Tutankhamen collection
with a special visit to the Mummies Room. Take an excursion to the
Citadel and the Ottoman-style Mohammed Ali Mosque (the Alabaster
Mosque) built in AD 1183. Then explore the famous Khan El Khalili

DAY 12: Cairo, EGYPT / Arrive Home
Board your international flight
