Vinyasa Flow yoga + Kalari Kovilakom

Going to my gym’s Saturday morning class with a great instructor, Paul DeSilva.

Check out the Ayurveda and Yoga retreat I went to last year at Kalari Kovilakom, the Palace for Ayurveda in Kerala, India.

It is not for everyone! I’m happy to chat with you about it. I also loved exploring the South West of India in the State of Kerala. Much of it is very rural. Many of the world’s spices come from there. The beaches are fantastic. Literacy is almost 100%!

Many yoga classes are out there, and you may be turned off if you pick one that does not suit your personality and state of physical fitness. For most beginners, a hatha or vinyasa class will be most appropriate, depending on whether you want a slow or fast-paced class. These are basic styles, and you can always try something fancier later.
